# 26. Share: Ukulele Tragic

When first getting interested in the Canadian indie music scene in St. John’s, I searched out artists in the Maritimes.  It was then that I discovered, Wintersleep, Down With The Butterfly, Grand Theft Bus and Share, among others.  “Pedestrian” was amazing and as luck would have it, I shared a bill with Shares songwriter, Andrew Sisk last year and was able to acquire a copy of “Slumping in Your Murals,” which has become one of my favourite albums.

So while perusing the web in anticipation of Andrew’s show this Wednesday during the Stereophonic Music Festival, I stumbled upon some free downloads and an early Share album was one of them. I love “Ukulele Tragic” for all its simplicity and straightforward ness. Sisk is truly an amazing songwriter and I am beyond excited to hear his new material this week.
