# 29. Devarrow: The Coast, The Cottage

Devarrow is the moniker of Sackville local, Graham Ereaux and his album “The Coast, The Cottage” is a beautiful work of harmony filled folk music. With inspiring lyrics, excellent vocals and sparse instrumentation, Graham really has quite a knack for crafting a song. This is a remarkable listen for fans of the genre and I can’t help but hear some of my favourite artists in this music like Fleet Foxes or Iron & Wine.

I first listened to Devarrow over the past summer when 4 free downloads from this album were posted on his bandcamp page. I loved those four songs and now that I’ve heard the rest of this record altogether, I’m in love with it.  I wish I told you as much when we went for that beer at Ducky’s.

Needless to say, I’m beyond stoked for the first show of Stereophonic tomorrow night at the Chapel here in Sackville, featuring David Simard, Andrew Sisk and Graham’s other project that is garnering quite a reputation, Bolivia. Stay tuned for their EP in the coming days.
