# 66. Nick Everett & Poplar Pines: Rocky Top

Both acts featured on this split album have played Sackville in the last month and I’ve been lucky enough to catch both shows.  Poplar Pines played an intimate little set at the Bridgestreet Cafe during Stereophonic and, more recently Nick Everett and his band played at George’s Roadhouse. I’ve been meaning to dig up some recordings of the above musicians and finally did so today. Rocky Top is a great album and is a fine showing of a couple of Nova Scotia’s up and coming songwriters. Get the album here.
