# 88. The Grateful Dead: American Beauty

I’ve heard a nice bit of these guys over the years, but am only familiar with the album Woringman’s Dead as a whole. This album seems to continue the same kind of country, folk-tinged rock and roll and it’s great. There are no frills, bells or whistles with the Dead, just singers and players who give it their all and you can feel it in the music.

Highlights:  “Friend of the Devil”  “Truckin‘”
